GEWEX Asian Monsoon Experiment GAME-Tibet

GAME-Tibet To clarify the roles of the interactions between the land surface and the atmosphere over the Tibetan Plateau in the Asian monsoon system, two experiments using different scales will be implemented in corporation with Chinese TIPEX (Tibetan Plateau Experiment) as follows: 1) A Plateau-scale experiment using the north-south and east-west networks of one dimensional observational stations, and 2) A Meso-scale experiment with two or three dimensional intensive observation.
