An atmospheric component of the K-1 model is T106L56, and an ocean component is 1/6 x 1/4 L48OGCM. Besides, a land surface model(MATSUSHIRO), an sea-ice model and a runoff model is incorporated. It is emphasized that on-line aerosol model is included and the 1-st and 2-nd of the indirect effect is considered. 100 year control run, 1% increase of CO2 run and 20C3(Century Climate Change) Run were conducted. Without flux correction, our model show no climate drift. A climate sensitivity is reasonable and the 1 % increase of CO2 run shows approximatelly 2.5C increase due to a doubling CO2. In this model, the Asian Monsoon is well simulated. Comoared with the results of AMIP run, where T106L56 AGCM is integrated with observed SST, the K-1 model show the same quality in the Asia Monsoon region. In other words, the quality of SST simulated in the K-1 model is reasonably good. Especially,moisture fields are improved and seasonal cycle of the moisture fields are well represented. Rainfall corresponding to the topography is better simulated than a coarse resolution model. Various aspects of the Asian Monsoon system can be discussed by using a high-resolution model.
